South Korea will take action against two ships which last year covertly delivered North Korean coal to the country's ports and “punish” concerned parties “if necessary,” the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said Thursday.
The statement follows reports on June 27 by the UN's Panel of Experts on North Korea that two vessels - the then-Panama-registered Sky Angel and the Sierra Leone-flagged Rich Glory - unloaded DPRK-produced coal at Incheon and Pohang in October 2017.
