The director of the UN's World Food Program (WFP) will visit North Korea for an official four-day visit starting on Tuesday, according to a WFP press release.
WFP Director David Beasley's visit comes amidst warming relations between North Korea, its southern neighbor, and the United States, and is the second time a UN official has headed to North Korea since December.
