Seoul “carrying out preparations” to finance inter-Korean projects: minister

Any cooperation would require green light from the international community, Kim Dong-yeon adds

The South Korean government is currently discussing plans to fund inter-Korean economic cooperation projects in the wake of last Friday's summit, the country's finance minister said on Wednesday.

Speaking in Sejong, ROK, Kim Dong-yeon said that any projects to be financed by the South Korean government would have to be cleared with the United Nations and would need to be in line with international sanctions against the DPRK.
