North Korean official Kim Yong Chol on his way to U.S., Trump confirms

Kim Yong Chol – a high-ranking North Korean official – will be visiting the U.S. this week to continue discussions regarding a U.S.-DPRK summit, President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday.

Trump’s comment confirms earlier reports that Kim would be flying to the U.S. after he was photographed at Beijing Capital International Airport.

The high-ranking DPRK official then appeared on a list of passengers set to depart for New York on Air China flight CA981 at 1300 local time on Wednesday.
