DPRK media calls for ROK to end “institutional” obstacles to Panmunjom Declaration

Pyongyang says two Koreas must ensure agreement implemented "smoothly and thoroughly"

North Korean state media on Thursday called for the South Korean government to remove “institutional mechanisms” which might block implementation of last month's Panmunjom Declaration.

An editorial in the DPRK Today - which is largely seen as outer-track propaganda and would not typically be accessed by North Koreans - said that the “most urgent priority” for Seoul and Pyongyang was to carry out the agreements signed by the two leaders “in a thorough manner.”
