Beijing announced late on Sunday that it had prohibited 32 dual-use items for export to North Korea in line with UN Resolution 2375 passed in September last year.

China’s Ministry of Commerce published a notice on the move in conjuction with the China Atomic Energy Authority, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, General Administration of Customs, and the National Defense Industry and Technology Bureau.

The list of items on Beijing’s announcement appears similar to that posted on the UN 1718 Committee’s website, which is updated when the UN’s list of prohibited items changes.
