The North Korean National Academy of Sciences has launched a new program enabling education students to develop their “practical skills” in a simulated teaching environment, the state-run DPRK Today reported on Monday.

The “virtual teaching” platform was developed by the information intelligence research arm of the National Academy of Sciences, DPRK Today said, and allows users to experience a virtual classroom and a range of scenarios.

North Korean faculties and students from local education colleges can reportedly “experience the psychological responses of elementary school students and learn skills to control their minds and handle the situation.”
