Head of U.S. Pacific Command denies possibility of kinetic strike on the DPRK

There is no "bloody nose" strategy for a kinetic strike against North Korea if it were to conduct another nuclear or missile test, U.S. Navy Admiral and the head of Pacific Command Harry Harris said in Washington on Thursday.

During a testimony at the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, Harris poured cold water the idea of striking the North's nuclear or missile testing facilities to make it reconsider future weapons tests.
