Chinese President accepts invitation to visit North Korea: KCNA

In Beijing meeting with Kim Jong Un, Xi says he will travel to DPRK at a “convenient time”

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday accepted North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s invitation to visit Pyongyang, the DPRK's state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

North Korean media on Wednesday confirmed reports that the DPRK leader had visited China from Sunday to Wednesday - his first overseas trip since coming to power in December 2011.
