Seoul will open two upcoming performances in the South by a North Korean art troupe to the public free of charge, the Ministry of Unification (MOU) announced on Thursday, and will select a total of 1060 locals through a lottery system.
MOU spokesperson Baik Tae-hyun said the government plans to invite 500 and 560 respectively to performances by North Korea's Samjiyon Orchestra in Seoul and Gangneung.
