Reunions of families separated by the Korean War must happen as soon as possible and without preconditions, South Korea’s unification minister said on Friday.

Speaking at a Lunar New Year ceremony held with members of separated families, Minister of Unification Cho Myoung-gyon called on Pyongyang to accept Seoul’s proposals to hold the meetings, which were last held over two years ago.
