North Korea reopens inter-Korean military hotline on west coast

Communications channel to operate normally from Wednesday onwards, says MOU

North Korea has restored inter-Korean military communication channels on the western coast of the peninsula, the South Korean vice unification minister announced on Tuesday.

The announcement comes amid ongoing high-level government talks at the Peace House in the truce village of Panmunjom, which began at 1000 KST.
