“No more time for excuses” on North Korea coal trade, State Dept warns Moscow

Comments by Heather Nauert follow allegations that DPRK using Russian ports for illicit activity

Russia has been "warned" against letting North Korea trade coal via its ports, a U.S. State Department's spokesperson said on Tuesday, adding that there was "no more time for excuses" for failing to enforce international sanctions.

The statement came in response to reports by Reuters last week that North Korea has been exporting coal via Russian ports and has continued to do so following a UNSC ban on August 5.
