S. Korean military to launch specialized division on N. Korean nuclear program

Defense ministry will place division under new DPRK policy bureau as part of reshuffling

South Korea's Ministry of National Defense (MND) on Tuesday announced plans to create a new bureau on North Korea policy and a specialized division to deal with Pyongyang’s nuclear program as part of an organizational reshuffling.

President Moon Jae-in's cabinet passed the bill to restructure the MND and affiliated organizations at a meeting Tuesday, the military said.
