Peru to expel two North Korean diplomats

In announcement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs cites violations of recently adopted UN resolution

The government of Peru has instructed two North Korean diplomats to leave the country within two weeks because of North Korea's violations of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the expulsion of First Secretary Pak Myong Chol and Third Secretary Ji Hyok on the same day that the UNSC passed Resolution 2397, the newest round of sanctions against the DPRK for its nuclear and missile development program.
