North Korea has not yet crossed Seoul’s “red line” in missile testing, says MOU

South Korea's defense ministry has assessed that Hwasong-15 missile could reach Washington, however

Seoul does not believe that North Korea's recent test-launch of a newly-developed intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) crossed a "red line," the South Korean Ministry of Unification (MOU) said on Friday.

“The government estimates that North Korea’s missile test didn’t provide the capabilities including atmospheric reentry, precise guidance at terminal phase or the operation of a nuclear warhead,” Lee Eugene, deputy spokesperson for the ministry, told assembled media during a regular news briefing.
