Two U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers flew over the Korean peninsula and conducted bombing drills in South Korean territory on Thursday, according to the U.S. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and Seoul’s Ministry of National Defense (MND).

The two B-1B Lancers, along with fighter jets from the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) and Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), “conducted a sequenced bilateral mission in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula,” PACAF announced on Thursday.

PACAF said two B-1B strategic bombers flew south of South Korea and west of Japan after taking off from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
