The South Korean government will announce new unilateral sanctions against Pyongyang next week, the Blue House said on Friday.

The decision was made at a regular meeting of Seoul’s National Security Council (NSC) Standing Committee on Thursday.

“The standing committee members… discussed unilateral sanctions that our government can impose on the basis of the results of the consultations with other countries,” the presidential office said in a statement, adding that the new measures will be announced on Monday “at the earliest.”
