The South Korean government on Monday imposed new unilateral sanctions on 18 North Koreans linked to the country's banking system.
Seoul’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said the government “has been closely consulting with relevant countries to faithfully implement” UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and that the individuals listed had been linked to financial institutes sanctioned by the UNSC.
