North Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Wednesday issued a response to the U.S.’s decision to list the country as a state sponsor of terrorism (SSOT).

President Donald Trump announced at a cabinet meeting on Monday that North Korea was being returned to the SSOT list and that further sanctions would shortly follow.

North Korea was silent on the issue until Wednesday, when the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) carried comments from an unnamed foreign ministry spokesperson.
