Kim Il Sung University has launched a program providing information on drugs prohibited for athletes participating in an international sports events, state-run online portal Dawn reported on Monday.

The university’s Pyongyang Medical College rolled out “wire net 1.0,” an “information management system of prohibited drugs,” an article on the website said.

The program provides detailed information “quickly and precisely,” and the portal describes it as a “powerful net which can completely catch banned  performance-enhanced drugs.”

The program was devised in accordance with international standards, the report says, listing the drugs’ international nonproprietary names (INN), brand names, chemical components, and effects.
