Spain on Monday declared the North Korea ambassador to the country a persona non-grata and asked him to leave by the end of September, according to a statement from its foreign ministry.

The Spanish Government said the decision was made due to North Korea’s continuing weapons testing, despite repeated calls from the international community for the DPRK to fulfill its international obligations.
