South Korea’s Ministry of Unification (MOU) and the Supreme Court of Korea are pushing ahead with a research project to overhaul part of the legal system in preparation for renewed inter-Korean economic cooperation.

The unification ministry announced to bidders this week that it is seeking a subcontractor for a three-month research project to analyze “enforcement rules” concerning the Kaesong Industrial Complex (KIC) and to identify “an improvement plan.”
