The UN approved the spending of around USD$6.35 million for projects in North Korea so far this year, according to the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) website.
All the funds are in the form of “rapid response funds” which are intended to be “disbursed as soon as possible” and “can be used as soon as a disaster occurs.”
