North Korea will host a one-month beer festival in Rason city serving locally-produced Czech-style pilsner beer from July 20 to August 20, state mouthpiece Arirang-Meari reported on Friday.

The “Rason Coast Beer Fest – 2017” will be held in Rason city and appears to be the first of its kind in the region. 

“City residents as well as foreigners and tourists staying in the city participate in the festival which will be held with great expectation and interests of beer aficionados and tourists in the Rason city,” Arirang-Meari read.
