North Korea announces second test of Hwasong-14 ICBM

Kim Jong Un says launch "clearly proves" DPRK can strike U.S. mainland

The missile launched from North Korea's Jagang province on Friday was the country's second test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), DPRK state media said on Saturday.

Leader Kim Jong Un ordered the test of what North Korea has called the Hwasong-14 missile, which flew for 998 km at a maximum altitude of 3724.9 km for 47 minutes and 12 seconds.
