N. Korean media rejects S. Korea’s “cunning” 2020 peace treaty plan

DPRK Today accuses Seoul of trying to denuclearize Pyongyang under guise of "reconciliation"

An op-ed in a North Korean state-run outlet on Friday dismissed a recent major policy announcement by Seoul, accusing South Korea of attempting a "cunning" plan to force Pyongyang's denuclearization under the guise of "reconciliation and cooperation."

President Moon Jae-in last week said his administration would seek to sign a peace treaty with the North and achieve the denuclearization of the peninsula by 2020.
