China reiterates rejection of U.S. unilateral North Korea sanctions

Comments come as U.S. plans further measures against Chinese entities

China reiterated its opposition to U.S. unilateral sanctions against its entities, with the Foreign Ministry asserting at a regular press briefing on Wednesday that it will handle sanctions breaches according to its own domestic laws and without U.S. help.

The statement was made in response to comments by the acting U.S. Assistant Secretary, Bureau Of East Asian And Pacific Affairs at a hearing held by a subcommittee of the U.S.  Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on Tuesday.
