U.S. President Donald Trump declared the U.S. has run out of patience with North Korea, during a joint press conference with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in held in Washington on Friday.

Trump declared the era of strategic patience – the name attributed to Obama’s policy for dealing with the DPRK – as over, saying there would be a “determined response” to the North’s nuclear and weapons programmes.
