Beijing on Wednesday dismissed remarks from U.S. Donald Trump made a day earlier saying China was not doing enough to pressure North Korea.

On Tuesday Trump tweeted "while I greatly appreciate the efforts of President Xi & China to help with North Korea, it has not worked out. At least I know China tried," indicating possible dissatisfaction with the DPRK's continuing weapons development.
