U.S. President Donald Trump has said his administration would be willing to pursue engagement and "peace" with North Korea if certain conditions were met, Hong Seok-hyun, a top South Korean government envoy, told media in Washington DC on Wednesday.
“We are currently at the stage of pressure and sanctions, but under certain circumstances, we are willing to create peace (with Pyongyang) using engagement,” President Trump told Hong Seok-hyun, an envoy for the recently elected South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
