News Kim Jong Un revisits Yeonpyeong strike site, reviews new strike plan against ROKLeader orders military to maintain high alert and "break the backbone" of the South Korean army
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reviewed a new strike plan against a South Korean forward military unit during a visit to two frontline islands in the Yellow Sea, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Friday. Kim inspected the advanced base at Jangjae island (Jangjae-do) and the coastal defense station at Mu island (Mu-do), located near the Northern Limit Line (NLL), the de facto maritime border between North and South Korea. North Korea disputes the legitimacy of the maritime border, and fired coastal artillery shells toward Yeonpyeong island in South Korea from Mu island in November 2010. The © Korea Risk Group.
