A third North Korean citizen has been sentenced to a prison term in Russia following a fatal clash with Russian authorities in October 2016, Russian authorities announced on Friday.

The decision involving the unnamed individual follows on from the simultaneous sentencing of two North Koreans to prison terms of two years and six months each in February.

“He was recognized by the court as guilty of committing a crime under Article 318, Part 2 of the RF Criminal Code,” a notice from the Department of the Far Eastern Transport Investigative Committee (FETI) read.
