The South Korean government said it was “almost sure” that the person killed on Monday in Malaysia was Kim Jong Un’s half-brother, Kim Jong Nam, it emerged during a Ministry of Unification (MOU) Wednesday morning briefing.

The South’s MOU, however, is yet to officially confirm the alleged murder of Kim in Kuala Lumpur.

“Regarding the National Security Council (NSC), the government judged that it was almost certain that the person killed was Kim Jong Nam.
