Choe Ryong Hae, a high-profile North Korean official, made a rare independent field visit this week, North Korea’s Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), reported on Friday.
Rodong Sinmun said Choe, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK and member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, visited Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, without providing the specific date the visit took place.
