A new alert device for smartphones which can transmit a warning signal in case of accidents - particularly in the mining sector - has been released in North Korea, the state-run DPRK Today reported on Wednesday.
The DPRK's Reungra Information Technology (IT) Corporation developed the so-called “smartphone alert transmitter” to help users send warning signals in the event of an accident.
