S.Korea to develop 200 “bunker buster” missiles with 500km range

Seoul confirms it will purchase European-made Taurus KEPD 350 missiles

South Korea’s military is planning to develop 200 so-called "bunker buster" missiles with a range of over 500 km in 2018, South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced on Wednesday.

DAPA unveiled two plans for a project to develop an air-to-surface stand-off guided missile system, in a move intended to build up South Korea's deterrence capabilities against the North. The ROK military also plans to purchase more European-made Taurus KEPD 350 missiles.
