Moon ‘ready to resolve North Korean nuclear issue’

Presidential candidate calls for security, stability and a stronger ROK-U.S. alliance

South Korea’s presidential candidate Moon Jae-in on Monday said he is ready to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue and is confident of strengthening the U.S. alliance under Donald Trump’s presidency.

Speaking at a conference held in Seoul's National Assembly Library, the presidential candidate added that Pyongyang’s nuclear arms and missiles would not guarantee its safety.
