Recently published North Korean articles show that Pyongyang is closely following South Korean internet, including Facebook accounts, for the latest updates on South Korean sentiment over the ongoing Choi-gate scandal.

The ongoing domestic scandal reduced President Park Geun-hye's approval rate to five percent last week, and experts have expressed their worries about North Korea's spreading of more rabid rumors against President Park on the internet in an attempt to affect South Korea's domestic politics.
