North Korea mentions Trump for first time since election

Article gives no indication about Pyongyang's position on Trump

North Korea has broken a roughly week-long silence and mentioned President-elect Trump - but state media is yet to comment on whether they welcome the new commander-in-chief.

“(Members of the South's Saenuri Party) are trumpeting about an ‘operation of Trump emergency system’ and ‘supra-partisan counteraction for settling security and economic issues’ in a bid to use even the (result of) U.S. presidential election as an emergency measure," an official commentary in KCNA said on Wednesday.
