Officials from South Korea’s Unification Ministry (MoU) will be summoned as witnesses by the recently launched national investigation committee regarding the scandal known as Park-Choi gate, the ministry announced on Monday.

Jeong Joon-hee, a MoU spokesperson, reiterated that Choi Sun-sil had not been involved in unification affairs, contrary to reports by numerous South Korean newspapers.
