“Creative approaches” are needed for N.Korea nuke issue: Lavrov

Russia: “It is too early to bury the Six-Party Talks”

Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday that the international community should apply more “creative” approaches to resolving the North Korea issue and place more effort on resuming stalled Six-Party nuclear talks.

Lavrov’s remarks came on the same day the North conducted its fifth nuclear test, its second of the year, which prompted an artificial earthquake with a magnitude over 5.0 on the Richter scale at the DPRK’s Punggye-ri testing site.
