Flooding in the DPRK’s north-eastern regions has resulted in 133 deaths and 107,000 people displaced so far, figures from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) released yesterday show.

The updated numbers highlight the scale of the large-scale flooding resulting from a typhoon and heavy rains hitting the region starting on August 29. The UN data says that the regions of Musan, Hoeryong and Yonsa are the worst affected.
