S.Korea: Chances of N.Korean provocation ‘higher than ever’

MoU warns South Koreans to take precautions when traveling overseas

The possibility of North Korean provocations are “higher than ever before," with missile and nuclear threats both “direct and realistic,” South Korean President Park Geun-hye said on Monday.

Her remarks, made during an ongoing National Security Council (NSC) meeting, came as North Korean state media pledged a “preemptive retaliatory strike” in response to joint annual military exercises between the U.S. and South Korea, which kicked off on Monday.
