North Korea wins gold medal in gymnastics Monday

Men’s vault gold brings North’s medal tally to two golds, three silvers, two bronzes

North Korea won a gold medal in men’s gymnastics at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Monday, the official website of the 2016 Olympics showed.

North Korean gymnast Ri Se Gwang took first place in the men’s vault final with a score of 15.691. He finished ahead of Denis Abliazin of Russia and Kenzo Shirai of Japan, who scored 15.156 and 15.449, respectively.
