An economic related press tour to North Korea – set to start in late August – has been temporarily postponed due to enhanced procedural processes and logistical issues, according to the individual leading the trip.

While the trip had previously been reported as being unexpectedly cancelled by North Korea, Paul Tija of GPI Consulting told NK News that a joint decision was made to postpone for a later date.

“We both decided to postpone the tour, not only the Korean side. I suggested to postpone this because on their side there were still some remaining issues to be solved including logistical issues,” Tija
