What use would North Korean students have for operate foreign design programs, like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, when they can’t even access the Internet freely?

Well, according to pictures from last year acquired by NK News, North Koreans are indeed using foreign programs such as these, including U.S.-produced computer parts for their computer education.

Taken by a photographer – who wished to remain unnamed – who visited certain parts of North Korea last October, the pictures of the North Korean schools’ computer class room reveal school authorities’ interest in seeing that students learn to use such modern design tools, at least at the upper-crust schools.
