News North Korean media shows parachuting clubsTwo different clubs apparently competing, despite UN sanctions on aviation fuels
North Korea has at least two skydiving clubs, footage from Korean Central Television (KCTV) news broadcast which aired on Thursday shows. The video claims that a completion took place for both individuals, and two very similarly named teams. “In the solos, Pyongyang Air Club’s own Rhee Jinsung won the solo competition. Pyongyang Air Club also overwhelmed Pyongyang Air City Club in the group competitions,” the announcer says, before adding that 40 parachutists took part in the competition.
