Update 03/06/2016: Media reports issued on Friday indicated that over twenty countries made the first deadline for filing UN implementation reports, but the UN Security Council’s website has yet to be updated with the new information. 

The UN Security Council (UNSC) issued a condemnation of North Korea’s repeated attempts to launch ballistic missiles on Wednesday.

The UNSC’s blunt statement called the three failed launches of intermediate-range missile ballistic missiles, beginning in mid-April, “deplorable.”

“These repeated attempted launches are in grave violation of the DPRK’s international obligations under United Nations Security Council resolutions 1718 (2006), 1874 (2009), 2087 (2013), 2094 (2013)
