China announced a list of prohibited items for export to North Korea in line with UN Security Council resolution 2270, according to the country’s Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday.
The list contains items, materials, equipment, goods and technology considered to be dual use, which can be employed in the development of nuclear or missile related technology as well as chemical and biological weapons. Dual use refers to items that can be used for both military and civilian purposes.
